A Love Like Yours (Don't Come Knocking Everyday)
A song I absolutely love, written by the great Motown trio : Brian Holland, Edward Holland and Lamont Dozier, for one of my favourite Motown bands, The Vandellas, and their great lead singer, Martha Reeves, in 1963.

On trouve quelques très bonnes reprises de ce classique sur youtube. Celle que je préfère, parce que pleine de swing et très fidèle à l'esprit tout en étant très différente (et aussi à cause de l'interprète, of course), est celle de Dusty Springfield - laquelle était une bonne copine de Martha, par ailleurs.
There are several very good covers of this classic on youtube. My favourite, because it's full of swing and quite true to the spirit of the original while being very different from it (and also because of the singer, of course), is Dusty Springfield's, a good friend of Martha's.

Another very good version, despite lousy backing vocals by the guitarist and the bass player, the one performed by the Animals and their glorious singer, Eric Burdon, in the 60's, supposedly during a concert in Germany.
